Happy Birthday Asher and Elie!!!

 This year we had a Cars 2 themed party.  We had all of Asher and Elie's classmates over as well some friends from the neighborhood.

I made the same recipe I used for Asher's firetruck cake three years ago.  To decorate the cake I made two rectangular cakes and stuck them side-by-side for the grass and race track.  For the grass I used green coconut flakes, the track I ground up oreo cookies to a really fine crumb, the finish line and flags out of checkered duct tape, white lines I cut up sour pina colada candy strips, bordering the track is peanut butter M&Ms, along the side of cake are mini chocolate donuts for the tires and finally the cars I have a cakelet mold of all the Cars 2 characters that I decorated with royal icing.
