From here it looks like a bunch of rocks...
...but if you get a little closer you'll find they are seals taking a snooze and soaking up the sun.
As I was taking pics of the seals, Asher was climbing the rocks and acting like a little dare-devil. When we were ready to leave, Asher finally decides he wants to check out the seals. So he makes a bee-line towards them. I start yelling and screaming for him to stay away but he was completely oblivious. As he ran right past the biggest one, it reared up and showed its teeth! That finally got his attention and his attitude immediately changed from nonchalant, defiant little dare-devil to comple terror. Asher backed up into the wall and then came screaming towards me. He was sobbing, telling me he thought it was a rock. He was so shaken that he was silent the entire walk back to the car.
The boys were so exhausted that they both passed out on the way home.
