Elie Recounting the La Jolla Farms Hike...

This past weekend Moi and I took the boys for a quick hike at La Jolla Farms.  It's a horseshoe shape trail jutting out with cliffs next to the ocean on one side and an ecological reserve on the other.  We saw a whale blowing water through its blow hole with its tail splashing, making some waves.  We also saw dozens of dolphins making circles, leaping out of the water and splashing.  According to a lady along the trail, dolphins were very common but whales were quite rare.  We were pretty excited!  And last but not least, on our way back from the trail loop we saw a bunny rabbit that Elie was very excited about!  We tried to creep quietly along the trail but of course he kept  his "safe" distance.
